Support for parents, children, teens, young adults, couples, and families navigating anxiety, ADHD, autism, learning differences, school stress, divorce, and power struggles.
I’m Cindy Souser, LMFT, a Denver-based Marriage and Family Therapist with 36 years of experience in private school education and family support. I help families understand what is happening underneath the conflict, reduce daily power struggles, and create practical tools that actually work at home, at school, and in relationships.
My style is warm, direct, collaborative, and solution-focused. I help parents and children slow down reactive patterns, improve communication, and build systems that bring more calm, connection, and confidence into everyday life.
I specialize in helping families with:
Anxiety, depression, and emotional overwhelm
ADHD, autism spectrum differences, dyslexia, and learning differences
School refusal, academic stress, IEP/504 support, and school collaboration
Parent-child conflict, power struggles, and emotional regulation
Divorce, co-parenting, blended family stress, and family transitions
Young adults struggling with independence, motivation, college, work, or “failure to launch”
Couples and parents who want to communicate more effectively and reduce conflict
How I work
I combine my background as a therapist, educator, parent coach, and school consultant to look at the whole picture: the child, the parent, the family system, the school environment, and the patterns that keep everyone stuck.
Together, we identify what is causing the chaos, name the patterns that are no longer working, and create straightforward tools for change. This may include communication scripts, routines, reward systems, emotional regulation strategies, school support, co-parenting tools, or practical parenting plans.
